Herbal Recipe Builder

Turn a blend idea into a clear, shareable recipe card with quantities, method and steep details.

Once you've found a blend combination you love, you want to be able to repeat it — and share it. This builder takes your ingredient list and brew notes and formats them into a polished, printable recipe card.

How to use it

How to use the Herbal Recipe Builder

Enter your herb list with proportions and your preferred brew method. The builder formats everything into a clear recipe card you can copy, print or share as a link.

  1. Enter each herb in your recipe with its quantity (grams or teaspoons).
  2. Add brew parameters: water temperature, steep time and serving suggestions.
  3. Give your recipe a name and optional tasting notes or description.
  4. Preview the formatted recipe card and print, copy or download it.

If you're still working out the right proportions, the Herbal Blend Planner is the right starting point — then bring your finished blend here to formalise it. For brewing technique guidance, visit our Herbal Tea Blends: Build Your Own guide.

The card layout is designed to be readable as a physical printout as well as on screen. Font sizes and spacing are calibrated for standard A5 and letter paper, so a printed recipe fits neatly on a single sheet. If you are giving a blend as a gift, printing the card alongside it adds a thoughtful, personal touch that a shop-bought label cannot match.

FAQs — Herbal Recipe Builder

Yes — the card includes a method section where you can describe your preparation steps in as much or as little detail as you like.

You can copy, print or download the recipe card as a PDF. Since the tool runs offline in your browser, there's no shareable link — but the card is easy to send as an attachment or photo.

No template is required — just enter what you have. The builder formats whatever you provide into a consistent card layout.

The builder focuses on creating and formatting one recipe at a time. For keeping a growing collection of recipes and tasting notes, our Herbal Tea Journal works well alongside it.
