Our Commitment to Readers

HerbalBrewGuides.one is a reader-first publication. Every decision we make about what to publish, how to write it and when to update it is guided by one question: does this genuinely serve someone who wants to learn about herbal teas?

We are not a product catalogue, a marketing funnel or a vehicle for health claims. We are an educational resource, and we hold ourselves to the standards that implies. That means being honest about what the evidence says, being transparent about our sources and processes, and being willing to say "we don't know yet" when the science is unclear.

Research and Sources

Content on this site draws on a range of sources: peer-reviewed scientific literature, reputable botanical reference works, public health guidance from recognised health bodies, and the accumulated knowledge of experienced herbal tea practitioners.

We are careful to distinguish between well-established findings, emerging research, traditional knowledge and our own editorial opinion. For scientific and health-adjacent claims, we prefer primary sources and cite them where it is practical to do so in an educational context.

Who Writes Our Content

Our content team consists of writers with backgrounds in food science, nutrition communication, botany and culinary education, as well as experienced tea practitioners who bring hands-on brewing knowledge to what we publish. Author bylines and credentials appear on guides and long-form articles.

Writers are selected for their ability to explain complex botanical and brewing concepts clearly and accurately without overstating what is known. We value intellectual honesty and do not ask writers to bend their conclusions to serve commercial interests.

Editorial Independence

Advertisers, affiliate partners and any commercial relationships we have do not influence our editorial decisions. The products and brands we mention in our educational content are chosen because they are relevant to the topic — not because they have paid for a mention.

Where we use affiliate links, we disclose this clearly within the content. Affiliate income helps us keep the site free and ad-light, but it never determines what we recommend, how we frame information or what conclusions we reach.

How Content Is Reviewed

Every published piece goes through at least one editorial review before publication. Guides and long-form articles that make specific claims about botanical constituents or traditional uses are reviewed by a second editor with relevant subject knowledge.

We do not publish content that makes unsubstantiated medical or health claims. Any statement about the effect of a herb on the body is clearly framed as educational background, traditional context or a summary of existing research — never as advice.

Keeping Content Up to Date

Botanical research moves. Regulatory guidance changes. Sourcing landscapes shift. We review our most-read guides on a rolling basis and update them when new information warrants a change.

Each page carries a "Last updated" date. When we make a significant factual update — not just a formatting or phrasing tweak — we revise that date and briefly note what changed at the bottom of the article.

Readers who notice outdated information are encouraged to flag it using our contact page. We treat every such report seriously.

Corrections Policy

We correct errors promptly and transparently. If we have published something factually incorrect, we fix the error in the text and add a dated correction note so readers who encountered the original version understand what changed and why.

We do not silently delete or rewrite incorrect content without acknowledgement. Editorial honesty extends to our own mistakes. To report an error, email hello@herbalbrewguides.one with "Correction" in the subject line, and include the page URL and the specific claim you believe to be incorrect.
